|---|---|---|
| Tuition (typical tech or analytics MSc) | €20,400–20,800 | From UL’s 2026–27 schedule |

Your real living costs depend on housing in Limerick; the visa figure is a minimum.
What does the Irish visa side add to the budget?
On top of tuition, Irish Immigration asks you to show access to €10,000 for each year of study for living costs. If your fees are over €6,000 you must pay at least €6,000 before applying for the visa. Students on Stamp 2 can generally work up to 20 hours a week in term and 40 hours in the holiday periods. After a Level 9 master’s, Stamp 1G can give up to 24 months to look for work, in two 12-month blocks. Full details are in our MS in Ireland cost guide.
What do we advise Indian applicants?
- Apply early for September entry: merit scholarships are reviewed when you apply, and housing in Limerick fills fast.
- Pick the programme first, then the university: UL’s tech and analytics fees sit in a tight €20,400–20,800 band, so the course content and placement links matter more than the fee.
- One engineering programme is listed at a much lower fee than the rest; confirm any unusually low fee with UL before you rely on it.
- Compare with University College Cork and other countries in our cost comparison.
